IMPORTANT MESSAGE TRAINING, COME AND TRY SESSIONS, AND REGISTRATION NIGHT WILL MOVE TO SHOWGROUNDS AND WILL CHANGE DAYS

15 Mar by Tony Gardner

The Korumburra Rec Reserve is undergoing repair this week with the entire ground being sown to winter grass so we can run Burra Cup in 3 weeks time and have the ground in good nick for the season ahead. There are numerous people to thank but first I need to let everyone know how we are going to deal with the disruption.
All activities in the next 3 weeks will move to the Korumburra Show Grounds.

Mini-Roos and all Junior Teams
4:45 pm on Mondays – March 17th, 24th, 31st

17s, Men and Women
6pm Mondays and Fridays
March 17th, 21st, 24th, 28th, April 4th

All these dates are open to returning and new players.
The 24th is our Registration night when we will have our registration officer Khalil and a number of committee members and helpers on board to answer your questions.

If anyone has a flatbed trailer or truck that can help us moves some 5m x 2m goals to the showgrounds that would be very helpful.

Thankyou to the Shirley and the Showgrounds and Giants Footy club for accommodating us. Lets treat their ground with respect.

Back at the Rec Reserve we thank the committee, Glen Barrett and the cricket club, Thanks to support from Phil McNaughton Contracting, Peter Notman seeds, Scott Douglas – Burra Water, AG Warehouse Fertiliser and a host of people at the soccer club not least Phil Richards. Not sure if you know what it takes to run a community club, but we are all working hard to make it work.
Go Burra and this time I mean all of Burra!
cheers
Tony
President
