Today we’re shining the spotlight on Steph, one of the passionate and dedicated players in our Under 12 Girls team 🙌
Steph started her soccer journey with Korumburra City back in 2021 in the Under 8s and hasn’t looked back since! Her favourite part of the week is pulling on her boots, joining her teammates and getting out on the field ⚽✨
Known by her teammates as “Iron Boot”, Steph has developed the power and skill to drive the ball from defence right up to the strikers 💥👏
We often joke that Steph helped build our current Under 12 Girls team, convincing more and more of her friends to give soccer a try and bringing new players to the club almost every year 💙❤️
As one of the top-age players in the Under 12 Girls team, Steph has grown into a leader both at training and on game day. While centre back is her favourite position, one of her goals this season is to spend more time in midfield or striker — and hopefully score a goal! ⚽🔥
In 2025, Steph represented Gippsland in the GSL Under 12 Girls Country Championships team, helping the side reach the semi finals 🌟 One of her favourite parts of the experience was making friendships with players from other clubs across the league.
Steph’s favourite Matilda is , and last year she got to watch the Matildas take on Argentina as an early birthday present 💚💛
We’re so proud of the player and teammate Steph has become and can’t wait to see what she achieves next ⚽💫
